Boston, MA is one of the oldest cities in the United States and as a result, it is the city where many important American firsts occurred. Boston Harbor is home to the very first lighthouse ever built in North America called Boston Light. The original lighthouse was destroyed during the American Revolution; however, a replacement was built and remains there today.
